Memorize

Memorize Surah Al-Mulk in 30 days

One verse a day. Most of its verses are short, and the player on this site can repeat each one as many times as you need.

Open the reader

The method — five steps a day

  1. Set the player

In the player at the bottom of the reader (tap its gear icon on a phone), choose Repeat: Verse ×5 and Speed: 0.75×. Both settings are remembered next time.

  2. Listen and look

Tap the play button beside today’s verse. Follow the Arabic with your eyes while it repeats. Turn on Word by word in Display to see what each word means.

  3. Recite without looking

Cover the screen and recite the verse aloud. Check yourself against the text. Repeat until you can say it three times without a mistake.

  4. Join it to yesterday’s

Recite from verse 1 up to today’s verse in one go. This joining is what keeps the surah together in memory.

  5. Use it

Recite what you have memorised in your prayers and before you sleep — the time the Prophet ﷺ himself recited this surah.

Your 30-day plan

Tick a day when it is done; your progress is kept on this device only. The two sections of the surah are verses 1–14 and 15–30 — finishing the first is a good halfway mark.

Tips that help

  • Keep one reciter. Your memory attaches to a voice and a rhythm; changing reciter mid-way makes it harder. Mishary Alafasy, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary (very clear and measured) and Abdul Basit (Murattal) are good choices for learning.
  • Learn the meaning first. A verse you understand is a verse you can remember. Read the explanation of each section before you start it.
  • Notice the refrains. Verses 16 and 17 both open with “Do you feel secure…” (ءَأَمِنتُم / أَمْ أَمِنتُم); verses 20 and 21 both begin “Or who is this…” (أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى); and verses 23, 24, 26, 28, 29 and 30 all begin with “Say” (قُلْ).
  • Revise daily. Once memorised, recite it every night — revision and the virtue of the surah come together.
