قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

قُلْ qul Say هُوَ huwa He ٱلَّذِى alladhī (is) the One Who ذَرَأَكُمْ dhara-akum multiplied you فِى fī in ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi the earth وَإِلَيْهِ wa-ilayhi and to Him تُحْشَرُونَ tuḥ'sharūna you will be gathered

Transliteration

Qul huwa allathee tharaakumfee al-ardi wa-ilayhi tuhsharoon

Say: He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered.

Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together."

تفسير ابن كثير — Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr (Arabic)

( قل هو الذي ذرأكم في الأرض ) أي : بثكم ونشركم في أقطار الأرض وأرجائها ، مع اختلاف ألسنتكم في لغاتكم وألوانكم ، وحلاكم وأشكالكم وصوركم ، ( وإليه تحشرون ) أي : تجمعون بعد هذا التفرق والشتات ، يجمعكم كما فرقكم ويعيدكم كما بدأكم .
